Students matriculated in the MSLIS degree program can choose to take this 12-credit Archives Certificate Programs as part of their 36-credit degree. Designed to prepare students for careers in archives and related fields as special collections, digital libraries, records management and museums, this course of study provides both archival theory, practice and research.  Considered part of the broader field of Cultural Informatics, archives and digital archives have wide application in today's information landscape.   

Program Requirements:  four 3-credit courses as follows:
