Pratt Institute’s 136th Commencement

All students and guests, including children ages 2 and older, are required to have a digital ticket to enter the venue.
Students walking in the commencement ceremony MUST arrive in cap and gown and with a student graduation ticket to enter Radio City Music Hall.

Poet and cultural critic Claudia Rankine will deliver the Commencement address and receive an honorary degree, and distinguished alumni Annabelle Selldorf and Stefan Sagmeister will receive honorary degrees.

After entering Radio City Music Hall, in the lobby, students will check in and pick up their individual name card. The name card will be used by the name reader as you walk across the stage.
Students can skip the line in the lobby by picking up their name card in advance at the Brooklyn Campus Student Union front desk on:
Each student must show their name card in order to get into the auditorium at Radio City.
During the ceremony, the name card will be collected for the name readers just before each student walks on stage.
Please arrive with your regalia unzipped or draped on your arm so you can pass through security quickly.
Please note that the Radio City Music Hall Code of Conduct explicitly prohibits ‘signs, flags or banners.’ We kindly ask that you and your guests adhere to this policy and refrain from bringing any life-size signs, flags, banners, and/or large umbrellas to Radio City. Upon check-in, Radio City staff will collect these items, and retrieval may not be possible as Radio City does not have a facility to store personal belongings. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
