Hi everybody! I am a graduate of Pratt Institute's Master of Science in Library and Information Science Program. My coursework focused on maintaining and developing film collections, children's and young adult literature and general library services.

I am currently looking for a professional position in a public library to start my career as an adult, young adult or film librarian!

EDUCATION	Pratt Institute School of Information and Library Science Masters of Science in Library and Information Science Graduated in May 2007. University of Colorado at Boulder B.A. Humanities, 1997. Focus on Film and Sociology.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE	Museum of Modern Art Intern of the Circulating Film and Video Library and the Film Department (Spring 2007) Worked on such projects as a Salvador Dali Film Exhibit and updated and maintained a list (to be uploaded on the MoMA website) of MoMA’s current circulating film and video collection. Pratt Institute Library, Manhattan Campus Graduate Assistant (Spring 2007) Monitored the circulation desk and assisted the librarian with reference duties. XO Communications December 2002-December 2005 Technical Sales Coordinator February 2004-December 2005 (New York location) Entered customer orders to ensure prompt activation of service. Also assisted sales reps in entering contracts and analyzed paperwork for accuracy. Circuit Design Analyst I December 2002-February 2004 (Colorado location) Activated customer orders and accounts with efficiency and accuracy. Used multiple computer programs, such as Excel and Word, along with the company’s ordering system to continue a high level of customer satisfaction and maintain customer accounts. FirstWorld Internet Services (now dissolved) Network Facilities Coordinator July 2000-November 2001 Maintained a network of over 100 customer accounts, developed and proposed ideas to keep costs down, and attained personal and company work goals. Other positions at FirstWorld included DSL Circuit Designer and LineCost Analyst.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE	The McKinley School Library for PS 63 and The Neighborhood School in New York City, NY. Assisted librarian Cheryl Wolf with elementary school programs, library circulation and the after-school program Boys Book Club. (2006)
