Graphic Design/Illustration at Pratt
Our AAS degree programs are intensive transfer-track programs which provide students with the first two years of a four-year bachelor degree program. Upon graduation from our department, students have the opportunity to enter a professional creative field or transfer seamlessly to the BFA program of their choice. Our AAS degrees begin with strong foundational courses that lead to advanced-level art and design courses and combine with a liberal studies component to create a comprehensive, competitive curriculum.
The Experience
Focused, efficient, and embedded in a tight-knit community, our two-year Graphic Design/Illustration Associate Degree program gives you access to core components of the Pratt experience in an intensive transfer-track curriculum. You will work with faculty at the forefront of their industries in a carefully curated program to prepare you for your next step.
State of the Art Tools
Through rigorous attention to production, technique, and contemporary aesthetics, you’ll develop your design practice and with it, agency to create change. You will have access to traditional art and design studios, labs with cutting edge hardware and software and print facilities with endless possibilities.
