Regalia and tickets
Faculty are encouraged to attend both the Awards Convocation and Commencement ceremonies. Dates will be announced in the late fall. The deadline to RSVP for the ceremonies and reception will be open in January and close in early March – please check your email in January 2025 for details. Platform Party members do not need to use the Faculty RSVP form.
2025 Commencement Timeline for Faculty
- Fall Semester: The commencement ceremony date will be announced!
- December 11, 2024: Deadline to apply to graduate and receive your diploma via the Grad App. Please remind your students!
- January 2025: Email with a link to a form goes out requesting that faculty RSVP to Awards Convocation, Commencement, and Faculty Reception.
- March 7, 2025 – deadline to order your regalia (cap and gown) for pick up at Grad Fair.
- April 29, May 2, and May 3, 2025 – Pick up your regalia (if applicable) at the Grad Fair, hosted in Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses.
- Mid-May 2025 – Attend Awards Convocation, Commencement ceremonies, and receptions – dates to be announced. Faculty reception (RSVP required via form by March 7, 2025) will follow commencement.
Tickets
Faculty and lecturers do not require a ticket to participate in Commencement, as you will be seated on stage during the ceremony.
