PRIVATE STUDENT LOANS
SCPS accepts private student loans for its certificate programs. Private student loans can be used towards educational programs up to the cost of attendance for a specific academic year of enrollment. In addition to tuition costs, private student loans can be used to pay for associated college costs such as books, supplies, transportation and other educational expenses. Private loans are consumers loans, to be considered for a private student loan you must apply directly with the lender/agency. In most cases approval depends on if the borrower is creditworthy.
There are many private student loans available to students who need funding assistance for educational expenses. You have the right to choose any lender, however we strongly suggest that you research each potential lender and fully evaluate the benefits that are offered before making a final decision.
SCHOLARSHIPS
SCPS accepts scholarships only for its PreCollege programs. Students applying for a scholarship through Pratt PreCollege will need to express their interest on the application form and upload two letters of recommendation as well as samples of artwork in the applicant’s choice of medium, for example: sketches, photography, painting, writing etc. Please note, previous PreCollege participants are not eligible for these scholarships.
