ADCL-200 Introduction to Calligraphy Intensive

This course is a hands-on introduction to the art of calligraphy. Students will learn the essentials of edged-pen writing using historical examples of writing in our (Roman) alphabet. The core concepts that guide hand-lettering will be taught, and students will be exposed to a wide variety of contemporary and historical calligraphy from around the world.
