This seminar course is designed for graduate students who wish to teach and grapple with the many creative opportunities and challenges in the expansive fields of contemporary art and design education. The course provides a theoretical overview of teaching and learning in art and design, inclusive of all ages of learners within museum, community, and college settings which is then applied in comparative observational research in such settings. Required for the Advanced Certificate in Teaching and Learning (ACTL), the course will also be open as an elective for all graduate students.
