Women in Art delves into the varied artistic practices of women and individuals across the spectrum of female identity who contributed to shaping the Early Modern artistic landscape as collectors, artists, and patrons. Emphasizing global cultural diversity, the course aims to enhance inclusivity in contemporary narratives of this period. Through critical engagement with scholarly resources and examination of their gaps, lectures, readings, discussions, and assignments are crafted to cultivate a thorough understanding of the nuanced roles played by individuals of all female identities in conceptualizing the artistic milieu from 1400 to 1800.
