Regina Gregorio, adjunct associate professor of fashion design, was interviewed for Atmos magazine’s story on “The Case for Natural Dyes.” Gregorio discussed the recently established textile dye garden at Pratt.

Pierina Sanchez, former visiting assistant professor of architecture and a previous senior fellow for policy at Pratt Center, was included in City & State New York’s 2022 Real Estate Power 100. Sanchez was recently elected to the New York City Council and is chair of the New York City Council Housing and Buildings Committee.

On @prattinstitutearchives find a look back to the 1970s founding of the Brewery Puppet Troupe by Art Education student Bradford Brewer. The group was one of the first African American puppet ensembles in the United States and remains active today.

Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Practice, Fine Arts, Carlos Motta has collaborated with performance artist Tiamat Legion Medusa, continuing his investigation into queer counter-histories with a two-channel video installation that centers Medusa’s life and work as an interspecies, body-modified transexual. The work is on view until April 22 at OCDChinatown.
