Coffee and Constitution Day Tabling

A Critical Conversations Event
Constitution Day is an observance that recognizes and honors the document that establishes essential rights extended to people within the US. However, it is important to note that this legislation is by no means perfect. In fact, this document at times perpetuates inequities and oppressive systems.
C-Board will be hosting a Constitution Day tabling program where they will provide donuts and coffee outside in the Rose Garden from 10 AM to 2 PM. They will give out voting information and pocketbook Constitutions, ask students to participate in a Constitution quiz, and engage in a reflection about how students would reimagine legislation if given the opportunity!
This event is part of Critical Conversations: creating space for and educating one another about our multiple cultural contexts, activism, civil discourse, and academic engagement.
