Álvaro Catalán de Ocón is the winner of the Spain National Design Award in 2023. He was born in Spain in 1975, is a celebrated designer leading ACdO, a production and distribution company based in Madrid known for its pioneering projects. His design philosophy is deeply rooted in multiculturalism, craftsmanship, and sustainability, guiding him to create both appealing and practical objects. Álvaro’s work ethic not only results in the creation of beautiful, functional items but also encourages discussions on environmental concerns and various other topics.
