DDA Guest Lecture Series Fall 2023: Asher Remy-Toledo

Asher Remy-Toledo is a New York based, Colombia born, cultural producer with over two decades of experience in the field. He is the founder and current director of Hyphen Hub, a New York based non-profit organization working at the intersection of art and creative technology that creates live events, salons, exhibitions with a focus on the new frontiers of technology.
Asher has been part of the curatorial team for the International Festival of the Image in Manizales and Bogotá Colombia, a new media festival that brings together practitioners, electronic music, exhibitions and scholars to the longest running festival of new media in Latin America.
Asher is an Ars Electronica judge and committee member in 2023 and he holds a fellowship at Culture Hub. Former initiatives include co-founding No Longer Empty, a non-profit arts organization based in New York that took over empty spaces in the city and created site specific installations.
