Artist, animator, film director, producer, and teacher Vladimir Leschiov was born in 1970, in Daugavpils, Latvia. In 2002 he graduated from the Department of Animation of the Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Sweden, and in 2023 he graduated from the Faculty in Humanities of the University of Latvia. Founder of the LUNOHOD animation studio in Riga, in 2007.
His animated short films were awarded at festivals in France, Poland, Japan, Germany, Canada, Portugal, Argentina, USA, Croatia, and others.
