First Generation & BIPOC Parent and Family Reception

Join Dr. Delmy Lendof, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Justin Kelley, Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students, at 3:30 pm in the Student Union for a program designed for supporters, families, and parents of First-Generation or BIPOC students.

First-generation students are those whose parents or guardians do not have a bachelor’s degree or higher. BIPOC is defined as Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color.

This reception is for parents and family members to enjoy while their student settles into their room on campus.
