Join us for an exhibition and book launch in the Steuben Gallery, Pratt Institute, from 4/10 to 4/17. The exhibition will open on April 10th from 4 to 5 p.m.
“Recipes for a Warmer World: Cooking up Plants of the Futurescape as Colors, Scents, and Foods” (2024) features essays—by Pratt faculty, Jean Brennan, Cindie Kehlet, Audrey L.M. Lindsey, and herbalist Sarah Elisabeth—alongside color, scent and culinary recipes from plant species predicted to thrive in a warming climate.
The 146-page riso-printed book is published by FRUIT&ROT and funded by the STEAMplant Initiative. The exhibition includes research artifacts, video interviews, and books available for purchase.
This event is open to the public.
