Pratt Institute presents a lecture by Piero Baglioni, “Gels and Nano: Materials in Conservation.”
Piero Baglioni is a Professor of Physical Chemistry in the department of Chemistry at the University of Florence and is an MIT affiliate. He is on the editorial/advisory boards of several international journals and a member of the scientific board of several national and international institutions and societies. He is the author of more than 450 publications and 25 patents in the field of colloids and interfaces and a pioneer in the application of soft matter to the conservation of Cultural Heritage.
