Interspecies Library: Signals of Kinship

Collector and curator Oscar Salguero will share a glimpse into the origins of Interspecies Library and how contemporary artists’ books are challenging our way to associate with and perceive other species, their intelligences and ways of being.

The lecture is related to the exhibition Decentering Strategies (Design Center Gallery 2/26 – 3/08) which presents a selection from the archive highlighting the potential of books as tool for attuning to more-than-human worlds.
