Kick Off National Voter Education Week with an Inspiring Film Screening!To celebrate the beginning of National Voter Education Week, join CBoard, PBoard, and NYPIRG on October 7th at 6:30 PM in the Student Union for a screening of the powerful film Selma.Directed by Ava DuVernay and written by Paul Webb, this 2014 historical drama vividly portrays the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches.

The film highlights the courageous efforts of leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., James Bevel, Hosea Williams, and John Lewis in the struggle for voting rights and equality.Come and reflect on this pivotal moment in history as we honor the importance of voter education and engagement.
