About the Speaker
Colleague’s founder and principal, Nina is a former communications executive for the City of New York, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. After handling communications with the media and the public for many years, she transitioned to talent acquisition, seeking out qualities in candidates that reflected what she knew worked in the world of communications — hard work, fast thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for truth and excellence. Colleague specializes in mid-career and senior-level searches for marketing, communications, public relations, and brand strategy agencies, and has placed creatives and other strategic thinkers on teams that serve brands including HBO, the Ford Motor Company, Meta, Verizon, Coinbase, Uber, NBC, Airbnb, Fanduel, and many others. Nina’s a Queens, NY native and graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science. She lives in NYC with her husband, their three teenagers, and a Cairn terrier.
