Professor Alisa Zamir Celebration

Professor Alisa Zamir has made the decision to retire as a full-time tenured faculty member after 55 years. Professor Zamir has been an incredible teacher, mentor, colleague, and leader in the Graduate Communications/Package Design Department and in the broader Pratt community. She has influenced and impacted thousands of students during her time serving as a faculty member and served as a model for the rising faculty on what a successful teaching practice looks like. She demanded a great deal of every one of her students; she gave even more to ensure that all were set to reach their potential. We have been extremely fortunate to have her as part of our community for so long. She is irreplaceable and we will miss her.
