Custom9:00 AM – 5:00 PMApril 18 – April 18, 2018
This international symposium brings together world renowned scientists, art conservators, art historians, curators, and archaeologists, who will explore the fundamental scientific and art historical questions that relate to the understanding and conservation of art. Moreover, the symposium provides the opportunity of dialog among these disciplines, which need to work together in order to preserve our works of art and cultural heritage for future generations.
This symposium was organized by Prof. Eleonora Del Federico and Prof. Cindie Kehlet, Department of Mathematics and Science. Co-organized by Prof. Diana Gisolfi and Prof. Lisa Banner, History of Art and Design and Stockman Family Fellow Sarah Numberg, Department of Mathematics and Science.
We thank Prof. Carole Sirovich, the Alfred P. The symposium will take place at Memorial Hall on Pratt’s Brooklyn Campus on April 18 and 19 from 9 AM–5 PM.
