Meet CBoard in front of the Student Union at 12:30pm and walk to the Library together!

A Critical Conversations Event
Join CBoard for MLK Legacy Week as we celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, work and lasting impact through acts of service!
The Free Black Women’s Library is a social art project that features a collection of over five thousand books written by Black women and Black non-binary writers, a free store, a period pantry, a virtual Reading Club, a weekly book swap, and a wide array of workshops and free public programs. It is a literary hub open to all races, ages, and genders to read, write, work, rest, dream, and learn in their space.
Pratt attendees will be reading to the public youth and learning about the black history that fills the library walls. We additionally may aid in organizing shelves. Please RSVP to join as we only have 10 spaces available!
This event is part of Critical Conversations: creating space for and educating one another about our multiple cultural contexts, activism, civil discourse, and academic engagement.
