Type Talks | Cuban Posters featuring Nelson Ponce

Nelson graduated from Cuba’s Design School (ISDi) in 1998. He has worked as a UI Designer, and professor of Illustration/Poster Design at his Alma Mater. He has managed event promotion and editorial design at legendary Latin American cultural institution Casa de las Americas. In 2013, he was awarded a National Design Prize by the Cuban Book Institute.

Nelson currently works as a freelance designer and as graphic design curator at Havana’s Fábrica de Arte Cubano.
