Wikidata Day 2024

Join Wikimedia NYC, Girls Who Code, and Pratt Institute for a mini-conference and celebration to mark Wikidata’s 12th birthday. This event will include beginner workshops, keynote presentations, lightning talks, networking opportunities, and of course WikiCake! Enjoy spotlight sessions focused on Wikidata and its role in elections and combating disinformation/misinformation, Wikidata and education, and an Intro to Wikidata.

Registration is required. Please be prepared to show a photo ID.

No experience with Wikidata is needed to join, this is a beginner friendly event.

If you would like to participate in the Intro to Wikidata editing workshop, please bring your own laptop. If you do not have one, we will have a limited number of laptops available for use.
