Application Dates
Applications for all School of Information programs are accepted throughout the year. Applicants can apply for admission in the fall or spring semesters, although most students choose to begin in the fall.
Application deadlines for priority admission, which includes priority consideration for scholarships, can be found on the Graduate General Admissions Requirements page.
Cost of Attendance
For up-to-date information regarding the School’s Tuition and Fees, please visit the Graduate Cost of Attendance page.
Scholarships
All applicants are considered for merit scholarships; a separate scholarship application is not required. Merit scholarships are awarded based on the evaluation of application materials including GPA, essay, and letters of recommendation. For students in good academic standing (i.e., if the student maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA), merit scholarships are automatically renewed for the second year of study. Merit scholarships are awarded to full-time students, but part-time students with a 3.5 GPA can petition for part-time study with scholarship.
Current students can apply for one of many fellowship opportunities.
Course Format and Schedule
School of Information courses are offered face-to-face at Pratt Manhattan Center. All programs are designed to support both full-time and part-time study with courses offered at 11:30 AM, 3 PM, and 6:30 PM.
The fall semester at Pratt typically runs from the end of August and through mid-December, while spring semesters typically start in mid-January and run through mid-May. For specific dates, please consult Pratt’s official Academic Calendar.
