In celebration of Alumni Day and Reunion 2015, Pratt will present an Alumni Exhibition on Saturday, September 19, featuring the work of more than 80 graduates.
The juried exhibition in galleries across campus will include work spanning over six decades in a range of artistic disciplines, including communications design, drawing, film and video, painting, photography, sculpture, and writing. It is the largest art exhibition for alumni at Pratt, with work by Mickalene Thomas (B.F.A. ’00), Adam Selman (B.F.A. Fashion Design ’04), and many others. Alumni Day will feature a full program of events, from a Creative Conversation with Pratt alumnus and award-winning photographer George Kalinsky hosted by Photography Department Chair Stephen Hilger to workshops, walking tours, roundtable discussions, a reception with live music and dancing, and more.
The Alumni Exhibition is open to the public and will be held on Pratt’s Brooklyn campus from 10 AM to 4 PM. At 2 PM, each Alumni Exhibition gallery will host a mix-and-mingle reception, during which the public can meet the graduates and discuss their work. Alumni must register for all Alumni Day and Reunion events. For more information about Alumni Day and Reunion 2015, click here.
