CNBC, a world-leader in business news that reaches more than 100 million homes in the United States and Canada, recently featured Pratt Institute on “How I Made My Millions” and “The Wall Street Journal Report.”
“How I Made My Millions” features entrepreneurs who take their ideas and turn them into extraordinary businesses. The half-hour program airs nationally and featured three alumni from Pratt's industrial design department who achieved success through their OgoSport toy company. The company was originally founded by Kevin Williams and the late Rick Goodwin, who was also a faculty member in the department. A third partner, Alumna Jenie Fu, has helped the company continue to build award-winning products and a recognizable brand.
CNBC also featured Pratt Provost Peter Barna on “The Wall Street Journal Report” in a discussion with Robert Safian, editor in chief, Fast Company, and host Maria Bartiromo on the demand for creative thinkers in today's business environment. The discussion explored the value of an M.F.A. degree and the expertise creative graduates bring to the business world. “The Wall Street Journal Report” is a half-hour syndicated program that ranks as one of America's top financial news programs.
