Biography
Adrien Allred is a native of Portland, Oregon where he began his undergraduate study in the classics and liberal arts and received his Bachelors of Science from The Nohad A. Toulan school of Urban Studies at Portland State University. Drawn to design at a finer scale, Adrien pursued and achieved his Masters of Architecture, graduating with honors, from the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design at the Pratt Institute.
Professionally, Adrien accumulated experience with small and medium sized firms on variety of project types including retail, commercial, cultural, educational and private residential. Adrien founded Amalgam Design and Amalgam Architecture upon gaining licensure. While working for Barker Freeman Design Office Adrien’s work won AIA New York, and AIA Brooklyn Queens awards.
