Biography
Anders Wallace Ph.D. (he / him) is Visiting Assistant Professor at the School of Information at Pratt Institute. He is a Senior UX Researcher at Google in New York City, where he researches consumer applications of AI on the Search Ads team.
Anders Wallace’s UX practice is rooted in mixed methods research and iterative design with collaboration at the core. Prior to joining Google, Anders worked at Rocket, NBC and Colgate-Palmolive. He has taught UX at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), cultural anthropology at Brooklyn College, and coached international startups on how to do human-centered design at Starta VC in New York City.
Anders earned his Ph.D. in anthropology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York (2019), where his dissertation focused on cultural practices of masculinity in men’s self-help communities in New York City. He earned his B.A. at Columbia University (2008).
