Antonia Barolini-Alvarez

Biography
Antonia Barolini- Alvarez is a painter and draftsperson working in watercolor, oil, acrylic, marker, colored pencil, as well as oil and chalk pastel. In 2016 she received her BA from Bard College where she majored in Studio Art and minored in Literature. She later went on to earn her MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2019. During her time at Bard she was twice awarded with the Bard Fund for Visual Learning Grant. While at the Academy she was awarded the Terra Foundation’s Giverny Summer Residency. She has shown in various group shows including “Mother and Child Group Show” (2019) at Sugarlift Gallery in New York City, “The Feminine Agenda Group Show” (2020) at Womenswork.art in Poughkeepsie, New York and the New York Academy of Art’s “Summer Exhibition” in 2021 and 2022.
