Brendan Enright is the Virginia Thoren and Institute Archivist at Pratt Institute Libraries, where he is in charge of the collection, preservation, curation, and dissemination of materials related to the history of Pratt Institute. In addition to these responsibilities, he engages in outreach on behalf of the archives as well as supports research and educational efforts, taking part in instruction and library programming. He began his time at Pratt as a Project Archivist, processing the Amy Brook Snider Papers, and later transitioned into an increased role as the Assistant Institute Archivist. Before joining Pratt, he participated in digitization efforts at the Queens College Special Collections and Archives, after which he contributed to description and preservation work at the Center for Puerto Rican Studies (CENTRO) as a Processing Archivist. Within the field of archival work, his professional interests include reparative description efforts, community archiving, and research examining the socio-political impact of historical record-keeping institutions.
