Dr. Moran is a historian of design education, with over fifteen years of experience teaching architects and interior designers. In addition to Pratt Institute, he has taught at the University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and the Schools of Architecture at Yale University, Syracuse University, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

His writing has appeared in Architecture School: Three Centuries of Educating Architects in North America (MIT Press, 2013), A Second Modernism: MIT, Architecture, and the “Techno-Social’ Moment (MIT Press, 2012), and Art School: Propositions for the 21st Century (MIT Press, 2009), among other publications.
