Biography
Stockton is owner of Stockshot Studio, www.stockshotstudio.comoffering visual communication in personal branding photography, identity, and web design.
Stockton has exhibited her fine art work and has shown in over 30 shows, including a group show that she juried of art and photography from Rwanda for the Art of Conservation. Her work was seen at the Tibet House for the Friends of Refuge Benefit and she has mounted numerous one-woman shows in New York, including Pratt and the Cupping Room in Soho. Her design and photography is published in Garden Guru Magazine, Driftless, Stoneridge Orchards, Health and Fitness, Shape, Psychology Today, The New York Post, Page Six Magazine, Sati Life, Yoga Works, Forbes.com, thestreet.com, Yahoo Finance, MSNBC, Self, HealthNewsDigest.com, Yahoo Biz, Global Learning Across Borders, and One Heart Worldwide, etc.
Her design and web clients include: Amma and the World Farmers Project, the Art-of-Conservation, Sati Life, GeorgeBstyle, Pratt Institute, ASI Design Studio, Hohme, Thoughtful Mental Health, Roxanne Evans Stout and River Garden Studio, New York Film Festival, ECA World Fitness, New York Law School, New York Film Expo, COMPASS, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
At Pratt, she developed the Web Design and Photography and Digital Imaging Certificate programs as well as co-designed the Digital Media track for the Associate Degree program. She developed and lead a Study Abroad program for Pratt with Global Learning Across Borders and the Rubin Museum of Art to Tibet, Artistic Traditions of Amdo and took students to Tibet for a 40 day journey in 2007.
Cheryl enjoys nature, family, and friends, trekking mountains, physical challenges, meditation, photography, and the adventurous spirit.
