Biography
Christina Chu-Garcia, P.E., LEED AP is an Associate at Thornton Tomasetti, New York. She is an alumnus of Cornell University. Her experience ranges on a number of projects from residential, commercial, higher education, overbuild and masterplan projects. Notable projects include the Hudson Yards development on the west side of Midtown New York, Sunnyside Yard Masterplan, and Syracuse University National Veterans Resource Center. Christina has been a member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York for over ten years serving on multiple committees and just completed her fourth year on the executive board. She was also the recipient of the 2018 Civil + Engineering Magazine Rising Star.
