Biography
Clair is an information architect and UX designer based in Brooklyn, NY. They are passionate about making complex stories accessible and inclusive. Clair has been working in UX since 2018 and have built their knowledge from a background in filmmaking and a Masters of Science in Information Experience Design.
As an information architect, Clair engages with clients to help them discover, understand, and solve issues with their digital presence. They’ve worked with a variety of clients from local and internationally recognized nonprofits to international pharmaceutical companies.
As an openly trans individual, Clair has taken a stance to advocate for the integration of inclusive practices into all aspects of research and design. They believe all people should feel welcome in the world and online. In their free time, they conduct research to understand how user research and online experiences can be more inclusive from square one.
Through their research and advocacy Clair has been asked to speak about inclusivity through information and design several times. They’ve become a resource for people after having their work published by nationally recognized organizations. Clair is extremely passionate about their research and work – they love helping others see how things could be better.
