Denise Shaver

Denise brings over a decade of experience in curriculum and assessment, having served as Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Planning at Oakwood University and as Lead Online Instructional Designer & Curriculum Specialist, Director of Off-Campus Programs, and Assessment Coordinator at Andrews University. She brings a strong focus on relationship building to this role, aiming to create a collaborative environment for faculty development that is guided by best practices in assessment. She has over twenty years of experience in college teaching. Denise holds a PhD and EdS in Curriculum & Instruction from Andrews University, an MAT in Teaching from Andrews University, and a BA in History from Oakwood University.
