Fausto Rivera

Fausto Rivera serves as the Director of Core Data Systems at Pratt Institute, a role he assumed in December 2024. His relationship with Pratt spans over 16 years, beginning in 2008 when he supported the institution as a vendor. In April 2016, Fausto officially joined Pratt as a Systems Engineer/Data Analyst, contributing to transformative projects such as the implementation of DocuWare as the institution’s Document Management System and LincDoc as its electronic forms tool.

Fausto’s commitment to innovation and operational efficiency has had a profound impact at Pratt. In June 2017, he was promoted to Senior Systems Analyst, where he led key initiatives to consolidate file management processes and streamline departmental workflows. His technical expertise encompasses database management, electronic form development, and workflow optimization, driving modernization across campus operations.

A Certified Salesforce Administrator since 2019, Fausto has played a central role in deploying Salesforce for ticket management and leading the onePratt project, fostering enhanced collaboration and operational efficiency across the institution. Prior to his tenure at Pratt, he built a strong foundation in IT as a Senior Systems Engineer at TGI Office Automation and as a Desktop Support Technician at Cablevision.

Fausto’s skill set reflects a blend of technical proficiency and adaptability. He holds certifications in Google IT Support, IT Security, System Administration, and various IBM courses, highlighting his dedication to professional development and staying at the forefront of technology.

Known for his collaborative approach and problem-solving mindset, Fausto continues to be an invaluable leader and contributor at Pratt Institute, driving innovation and excellence within the Core Data Systems team.
