Biography
Floriana Betti Bindi is an Adjunct Professor that has been teaching at Pratt since January 2014.
Since 2010 FBB is also a faculty member at Parsons / The New School where she teaches Specialized studio X Clo 3d software + Summer Academy and works as a consultant for the MFA program school of design.
FIT /MFA program where FBB taught Pattern recognition in Clo 3d.
Kent State / NYC office where FBB taught Patternmaking and construction in Junior year.
Before becoming a teacher Prof. Floriana Betti Bindi has worked both in USA and abroad in increasingly high-level technical design positions at companies such as Emanuel Ungaro, Missoni Spa, Calvin Klein, and Prada/Miu Miu; more recently she served as a technical designer for Area Studio and Lou Dallas in New York.
Floriana also worked during the summer as a consultant in other countries’ fashion Institutes:

Prof Betti Bindi speaks Italian (her native language), French, English and has a colloquial knowledge of Spanish
