Biography
Jacq Groves is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Their project-based practice explores relationships between both natural and fabricated structures and complex bodily systems. Jacq is trained in both the fine arts and biology. Previously the’ve worked within fine arts archives and collections and conducted biological research at Northwestern University and the National Institutes of Health. They completed their MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and previously earned a BA in Studio Art and Biology from Grinnell College.
