Biography
My name is Jean-Paul Pecqueur. I am a native of Tacoma, WA, a graduate of the Evergreen State College, New Mexico State University, and the University of Washington’s MFA program. Currently, I live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and teach humanities and creative writing at Pratt. My first book of poems, The Case Against Happiness, was published by Alice James Books in 2006. I have also published two chapbooks in the past couple of years, one from Greying Ghost and one from Forklift, Ink., as well as dozens of poems in venues such as Fence, Forklift, Ohio, Gulf Coast, Ping Pong, etc.
