John is a visiting  professor at The New School/Parsons, City University of New York and St John’s University teaching Typography, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Portfolio Development and Communication Design History
Professional practice includes the development of: Open Education Resources, AR/VR educational resources, cultural/educational programs, corporate and international governmental trade and cultural campaigns; creative direction print and online, digital design, branding, illustration, all aspects of editorial publishing/promotional design, and  multi disciplined creative efforts.

Professional experience: More than 20 years based in New York City developing multi disciplined creative marketing:
Co-founder, creative director of Webb Communications, a new media design firm
Art director: Scientific American, Architectural Record
Art Director at the United Nations, New York, designed various creative and marketing campaigns for UN initiatives globally. Worked with artists to design United Nations postage stamps.
