Karen D'Angelo

I am a lifelong New Yorker and visual artist with a professional management background in higher education and marketing, online publishing and printing. Working with clients in non-profit and for-profit organizations, I am designing and implementing marketing communications that contribute to the creative process and lifelong learning programs at Pratt Institute. I have been an art journaler, watercolor painter, illustrator and hand weaver since age 4. I was raised in the Lincoln Center community, where my mother studied interior design and my father was a professional musician in the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra for over 43 years, and professor of trumpet at The Juilliard School for 32 years. Currently, I am a student of music theory at The Juilliard School.
