Lisa Konecny

I have over 10+ years experience in the film industry and have had the opportunity to work on many large and small scale productions, including claymation and 3D animation features, as well as digital film and commercial work.

For the past 6 years I have also been a Mentor/Trainer for ((RADAR)) DIT .com During this time I have helped guide many up and coming film students and graduates and have taught well over a 100,000 hours of color theory and data management training sessions in the field and in a studio environment.

On a personal note, I am an alumni of Pratt Institute, receiving my Masters of Digital Arts in the fall of 2008. I have always cherished my time at Pratt, being around and working with such creative peers really validated my choice in career. I loved and (sometimes) miss the around the clock assignment crunches in the digital department wing. Sleeping under desks while nursing renders, giving feedback and receiving it on the fly from others. Looking back I can absolutely appreciate that Pratt and the DDA were trying to keep up with the latest trends within the industry. We always had computers and equipment available to us for our individual projects.

I look forward to continuing that level of dedication and availability to the students attending today.
