A Licensed Architect in the state of New York and AIA member, Meg Kalinowski is a Spatial Strategist, Researcher, and Educator with over 15 years of experience in the architecture, development, and construction industries. Meg is a Studio Director at NAVA, a forward-thinking architecture and real estate development company based in New York City who specialize in crafting innovative architectural solutions and prioritizing sustainable designs tailored to local conditions, ensuring every project enhances its context and maximizes value.

With over a decade of design leadership, Meg Kalinowski has played a key role in strategic visioning and collaboration for a wide range of completed projects, including the commercial and cultural developments of Penn 1 and Penn 2, urban planning, architecture, workplace design for Squarespace and the Hines EU Headquarters, while also bringing an integrated approach to branding, and retail experience design.

In academia, Meg has served as guest critic at esteemed institutions of Columbia University GSAPP, Parsons School of Design, and the New York School of Interior Design and has taught at the Spitzer School of Architecture at CCNY, NYIT School of Architecture, Rutgers University’s Bloustein School of Policy and Planning, and is currently a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute School of Architecture. In addition to teaching at Pratt, Meg contributes to the School of Architecture Dean’s Office NAAB taskforce, playing an integral role in strategic planning, articulating program value, data gathering and analysis, and crafting the upcoming 2025 NAAB Architecture Program Report (APR).
