Rhonda is Assistant Vice President in the division of Student Affairs, and oversees the Center for Career and Professional Development and the Student Success Center. Her service in Student Affairs spans a 15 year career and has been an invited speaker presenting her research and expertise in Higher Education at NASPA, AICAD, PAVE, Rutgers U. She is a member of the Pratt Senate and teaches for the Integrative Mind and Body Program in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She co-leads The Mindfulness Collaboratory, and is part of the The Pratt Research Yard Accelerator. She was awarded a 2022 Fulbright Specialist grant to Ireland, a 2024 Women Leaders in American Buddhism grant from the Frederick P. Lenz Foundation, and multi year support for the Collaboratory from the Emily P Hall Foundation . She is the author of Create Your Art Career (2013, Allworth Press), Called or Not, Spirits are Present (2009, Blue Pearl Press), and contributed chapters for The Mindful Eye: Contemplative Pedagogies in Visual Arts Education (2018, Common Wealth Pub), Starting Your Career in the Fine Arts (2011, Allworth Press) and Iteratio Volume 3 (2023 Pratt Center for Teaching and Learning). Her artworks are in the permanent collections of Memorial Art Gallery University of Rochester.
