Richard Bettini

Professor Bettini is a Pratt Alumnus who has been teaching CAD software & Robotics  for over 35 years both as a high school technology instructor and as a  Professor of Architecture. He is a Lic. AutoDesk Instructor teqaching  AutoDesk software applications : AutoCAD,  Inventor -a  3-D solid modeling application and Revit. He has also taught coourses in Rendering, Perspective Drawing, Materials and Methods of Construction, and History of Architecture (Western Civilization).

Prof. Bettini has also taught as a full time Lic. NJ Technology High School teacher for over 23 years. In the Secondary Education setting , he taught AutoDesk software AutoCAD, Revit and ( 3 D Modeling) Inventor. Also during his career in Secondary Education, he tuaght Robotics with Coding.  A short history of his Robotics Team is listed below:

FIRST VEX Robotics Competition 2011 Trenton, NJ- New Brunswick NJ Semi Finalist Vex Robotics Competition

MATE 2004 & 2007 New England Regional Underwater Robotics Competition Massachusetts Maritime Academy Buzzards Bay, Mass.

North Jersey Robotics Competition- 2007 First Place and Robotics team placed fourth and had Best in Show Sponsored by Passaic                                                                      County Community College

PANASONIC DESIGN CHALLENGE since inception.

MIT Zero Robotics Spheres Challenge 2011 Team Finalist –programming software to run robot sphere on The International Space                                                                Station. & 2012 Team Finalist (fourth place)

ROCKET AMERICA -TARC West Essex Robotics Team Nationally Qualified for 2013 season.
