Biography
Robert is Co-founder and Technical Director of Miscellaneous Projects, a design/play/make studio based in New York. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture and the Finance Officer of the Academic Senate at Pratt Institute. Robert studied architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received the Earl Prize for Design and graduated with highest honors. During his undergraduate studies, he worked with Dr. Carolyn Dry researching self-healing polymer systems for IDOT, NASA, and the US Air Force. Robert received an M.Arch from Columbia University’s GSAPP in New York with the AIA Medal for Excellence in Architecture. He is currently making things (digital and material) in New York City.
