Rollie Buchanan

Rollie serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX, with primary responsibilities for investigations. As a seasoned Student Affairs professional, he engages with students outside the classroom, in ways that enhance and support their experience.

His career experience has included small, medium and large public state institutions. The expertise that is used in his current role includes the areas of residence life/housing, student-athlete development, student conduct, student support services (i.e., transfer students, special programs), program development, and crisis and fiscal management.

Assisting students via their own pathway of self-discovery for personal and professional growth, he looks for academic and co-curricular activities that serve those purposes. The opportunities, which can be challenging at times, allow for the continued development of their skill set, such that it ultimately and positively impacts their collegiate experience and life-long learning process.
