Stefanie Werner is a highly regarded architect and designer based in New York City. She is the co-founder of das studio, established in 2007, where she focuses on modern architectural and interior design, sustainable practices, and Passive House standards. Her work spans a variety of residential and commercial projects, including new homes, additions, and renovations, with a particular emphasis on energy efficiency, sustainability, and functional, aesthetic living spaces. In addition to her architectural practice, Stefanie has contributed to academia, teaching at the New York School of Interior Design and Pratt Institute and engaging in workshops related to sustainability. She served as President of the Cape Cod Modern House Trust.

Her approach integrates architectural design with creative interiors and furniture solutions, making her a key figure in environmentally conscious and innovative architecture in New York.

 

 

Stefanie Werner has an international educational background, holding a Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design from the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. She also studied at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona under an Erasmus scholarship. She is a Registered Architect, LEED AP, Certified Passive House Designer, and Healthy Material Advocate.
